Events

Because Bonney-Watson values the families in our community so much, we take great joy in inviting them to events we host each year at Washington Memorial Park.  These annual events include our  Easter Sunrise Service, Memorial Day ceremony, POW/MIA Recognition Day in September, and our Holiday Remembrance Service.  

Veteran's Events

The Veterans Advisory Board of Washington Memorial Park plans our annual Memorial Day ceremony that pays tribute to all those who have served our country. With the backdrop of individual flags that adorn the graves of the thousands of veterans buried at Washington Memorial, those who attend the ceremony enjoy the words of inspiration, bagpipe music, 21-gun salute, and Taps, as they honor those who have died.

Children's Events

We also host several children’s events each year, including an Easter Egg Hunt and Halloween Extravaganza.  These are two great times of year to bring your children together, and give them a safe and fun environment to celebrate their favorite holidays in.  Both events are free to the public and include chances for the children to collect candy or toys. The events also include raffle drawings, with prizes for all ages, parents included.
