Funeral Services

We believe your choice of service is a personal decision. At Bonney-Watson we explain the options available, then allow you to make your own choices.

Services provided include professional services of a licensed funeral director; services of a licensed embalmer; services of a professional staff; use of the facility; transportation and other miscellaneous services (caskets and other merchandise are extra). All funeral home service charges are itemized. This allows a family to choose as elaborate or simple a service they desire and the costs will reflect that choice.

Commemorative Funeral Options

The commemorative service for burial or entombment is a convenient service of choice. Many families prefer and choose the commemorative funeral because it best serves all the needs of the family and friends. With this in mind, Bonney-Watson has prepared a Commemorative Service Plan to best serve the family. Plan prices, in most cases, are priced less than itemizing the professional services included.

The commemorative service is a meaningful expression for the family. It also gives friends and associates an opportunity to express their support and offer tributes by way of flowers, cards or monetary memorials to churches and organizations.

Generally, a service of remembrance is conducted by a clergyman of the family's choosing. We also encourage the active participation of the family in helping plan this part of the service. Many times family members take part by giving a reading, sharing special and humorous stories about the deceased, providing music or assisting the clergy.

If the ceremony is held in a church, there is no additional charge. Nor is there an additional charge for arranging and conducting fraternal and/or veteran services.
